Only a couple of picks today…
One of my biggest purchase mistakes in the past few years. This game is horrifically buggy. Game mechanics that you would think would be essential to a Castle-defense game (like, say, defender’s advantage!) don’t exist. Castle walls provide NO BENEFIT to your garrison (no range advantage, no defensive bonus!?). Feeding your garrison is ridiculously hard (at release, you could starve to death building NOTHING but farmers… they didn’t even generate enough food for their own workers). Walls that are so buggy enemy units can walk through them. Maybe later patches have improved some of the worst situations, but somehow, I can’t see it. I cannot recommend this. A huge disappointment.
Grand Theft Auto IV
To flip it around, this is an easy recommendation. GTA IV pushes the franchise further along, improves the graphics, the gameplay, introduces some new elements, and maintains what made the series great in the first place. An obvious choice for $5.
